My Holiday Creativity!!!!

This Christmas, I decided that I wanted to try my hand at being a little more creative. I really don't know what came over me...okay so maybe it was all the DIY ideas on pinterest. I saw a bunch of super cute things. So my first project was an ornament wreath and I think it turned out great....

The next projects were gifts for my little sister and my best friend, Charisse. My cousin Jessica has lots of adorable decor in her house so I was inspired by her to create cute wooden blocks with scrapbook paper on them.

Voila!!

After completing those I was feeling really good so I followed through on my word...I made our stockings.

They turned out to be a lot harder than expected but I think they turned out cute...but, man, am I tired. It sure was fun to find my creative side. Hopefully I will continue!!!!

One Year...

Dan and I have now known each other for an official year! To celebrate knowing each other a year we went to El Parrel the day after Thanksgiving. 

And don't worry the celebrating does not end there...we also celebrated the first time we held hands... on Temple Square. So in order to celebrate fully we relived our evening, even our watching of Mr. Kruger's Christmas.
